*It was late in the day, the sun was just starting it's decent in the sky, but the day was hardly over for many in the large capital city, a tavern, filled to the brim with those who just wanted to wind down from the long day with a stiff drink or just conversation with close friends or even strangers. The place was large and currently smelled of wood smoke and alcohol.

The owner a Male Koro was at the bar looking about the room, he could see everything, He could see that Lupan in the corner, fur so black, bow over his shoulder, hunter by the looks of it he thought, turning his head to what else he could see a female vulan near the fire. He smiles, she was better dressed then most others in the building, clearly she had come from money, she was pretty, too bad he was hitched already. He continues to observe his building to notice another Koro in there. This one tall though, he was surprised probably taller then himself, the very specific staff and clothing marked that one as clearly a mage, he was almost certain. He nodded satisfied and in doing so caught eyes with a felo nearby the Koro, the felo with grey all over in his fur and dark brown eyes seemed more confused then anything else, Horace wondered if maybe he knew where he was, then dropped his eyes from him, he didn't want to seem like he was staring him down, then he saw in another corner a Koro, sitting with the other physical laborers, he'd seen him before, comes in every day after the work is through, was very common practice for many in the capital.

It was only fitting that Horace would see him first. The courier, a Male Kisan, steps in. He was in red and blue clothing, seemed cleaned and pressed with a triple cherry patch on his shoulder. He was a King's courier, a silence fell over the room, he steps to a wall with many different notices nailed to it and sets to nailing a new one on, once done he turned and yells, his voice carries easily across the room*

Hear all! This notice is one of Kings employment! The king requests volunteers for a journey to the Fief of Baron Norwatt! Please report to the castle gate tomorrow if interested! *he looks over the group carefully before stepping out of the room quickly as he has come*

*De'Asha listened closely to the courier words, he had always wanted to go out of the city and see what lies out there, this was common knowledge to the other labourers since he had said when the chance to go out and see the world happens he would take it. It seemed that time has come, He stood up quickly after the courier had left and moved to see the new notice, he began reading it closely to see what the king was looking for as-well as what the aim of the journey is, he wanted to make sure he wasn't going to step out of the city's walls just to lose his head.*

With a wide smile, Ryko mutters, "Heh, I still love it how a single government official can shut a lively room up."

Trying to account the entire scenery of the tavern, Ryko takes out his book from his bag, and sees if anything new had appeared in its pages. As a flipped across several pages, trying to find the first blank page, to Ryko's expectations, a new page has been filled. Quickly reading over it, the new entry seems to be a summary of what had transpired in the tavern, and his personal thoughts on the matter. The writing stops at "I took a quick look into my journal to see what has been written thus far. I'm still amazed, yet curious as to how, and why, this occurs."

After reading the end, Ryko closes his book, puts it into his bag, gets up, and heads towards the notice that the official had just put on the board to see the details.

I listen to the courier. A journey that the king ordered, sounds interesting. I notice that as myself, everyone else have gotten quite interested in this, as it is, i see a half-horn koro go straight for the notice as soon that the courier left. A felo, who looks like a mage, takes up a book from his bag, the face shows that its has something interesting writen on it, then he closes the book and head for the notice aswell.
I relax on my chair, knowing that i will get to hear what's written on that notice.

Ayora takes her drink and wanders slowly to where the notice is posted, all the while sizing up the two who had already gone to read the notice. "They look like worthy companions, if we all decide to follow up on this," she thinks. She takes a moment to glance at the other notices posted there to see if there's anything else of interest.

((I assume Ayora would have heard of Baron Norwatt. Is his fiefdom anywhere near that of her father, or of her intended groom's father?))

((The Fief is not near either but she would be familiar with the Baron Norwatt as she would be with most Barons coming from her family))

*The Notice held a simple message on it, "All interested in a Journy to assist in the collection of Taxes from Baron Norwatt, please report to the Castle gate early tommorow", it was such a simple message, yet that made it strange, there was clearly something underlaying on this but it was not noted there. Taxes were normally something that could easily be handled by the guard and set about on their journy nobody ever needed to actually call for aid in the past.

*De'Asha read the notice quickly and took his seat taking a drink from his flask he thought to himself, "It seems rather odd that they have volunteers collect the taxes instead of the guards." Clearly something was wrong but this maybe the last time he had to get out of the city, he decided that he will go to the castle and hopes that he will find out more there*

(( I will be heading to bed shortly, Branden would you take over my character if he is needed ))

I thought i could wait for someone to say whats on the notice, but my curiosity couldnt wait. "What's written on that notice?" I say loud and clear so everyone in the tavern could hear me.

Ayora had planned on visiting the local Healers' Guild tomorrow to see if she could join and learn, but this sounds like it might be more interesting. If she is to go adventuring, however, it would be a good thing to have a sword in addition to her dagger. She wonders if any weapon shops are still open which might have something affordable. She'll go looking after she listens to the tavern conversation a while longer. She heads over in the direction of the Lupan hunter who spoke up.
