I'm sorry, I've not been on working on it, at first it was computer issues but my uncle decided to make a surprise trip into New York, I've not had much time to work on anything, I've even fell behind in my school-work. This is the longest I've been on in a few days. It'll come out as soon as I'm done with it, which I'll try and do today but like I said, gotta catch up on school-work, college comes first.

Don't worry about it. We all have lives and know how much time they can take up.

One thing that really surprised me running Secrets in Chalei was the amount of time required. You plan out a story arc.. you design settings and characters, and you brainstorm several possible ways things might go.

Then you introduce the players - and the story takes on a life of it's own.

It was rare that a scene played out the way I had planned/imagined it - so I was constantly adjusting and re-thinking how I should progress the story. It was tricky at times, but that's not to say that it wasn't fun - sometimes the players would provide twists that were better than the ones I had planned - such as Leythis's unexpected attempt to use magic when he was fatigued.

Writing a story is a lot of work, however - GMing is a lot of work to entertain a few select people. I felt a lot of appreciation working on Secrets of Chalei, and I'm glad to sense the same appreciation here.
