As I understand it, Jeff is a bit busy just getting the game done and currently converting it to single-player with server hosting. Though if enough fans speak german/ want a german version, I'm certain there will be one in the future.

mods are planned, maybe a language mod? Hrmm.

That's a good point - while I'm reworking aspects of Antilia to be more mod friendly, I should add support to the UI for wide character sets and add support for translation tables. While we won't likely have the resources to do much translation/localization ourselves, best to get the system in place now rather than try to add it later.

(Wow will their be a lot to translate - base user interface, item titles and descriptions, skill names and descriptions, conversation text...)

Thanks for the Answer :) Mod Support is very nice!
The community can then translate the game itself!

Honestly, I was working on a german translation of the Antilia website some time ago. For the "About" page, for example.
... Yes, I do have a lot of boredoom and time.

Edit: Appereantly, I found the document on my old laptop.

That's pretty nifty.

Now that the project goals have shifted though, any further translation work should wait on a site update. (But before that even, the game needs some heavy modification to more accurately reflect what we are trying to create now.)

Not to mention that the Frequently Asked Questions and the Press Kit pages still say the game's an MMO.

Yeah... still quite a lot of communication work to do.
